Autumn Trash Clean-Ups of Local Climbing Areas Taking Place Oct. 10 & 24

September 23, 2015 by Bighorn Climbers Coalition

Autumn Trash Clean-Ups of Local Climbing Areas Taking Place Oct. 10 & 24A dozen participants gathered on a chilly, windy spring Saturday in Ten Sleep Canyon to clean-up the highway around the popular climber pull-outs. Hopefully we can get at least this many people to join us for the end-of-season clean-up!

Join the Bighorn Climbers’ Coalition in cleaning up the stretch of highway surrounding the most popular pullouts for climbers’ parking in Ten Sleep Canyon on Saturday, October 10, 2015. We’ll meet in the Mondo parking area at 3:00 p.m. — hopefully after a glorious morning and early afternoon of climbing. Grab your safety vest and trash bag, get your assignment for an area to pick up, and feel the satisfaction of giving a small amount of your time to help make the canyon a little bit cleaner and well cared for by the climbing community.

Then, accompany the Bighorn Climbers’ Coalition at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 for our autumn Adopt-a-Highway event in Cody, Wyoming. Meet us in the pullout on the left before the tunnels in Shoshone Canyon. Help us keep local climbing areas clean!
