Bring your ropes, pads, widgets and some running shoes…because to win this you not only need skills, but some hustle. Game ON!
What it’s about: Not your ordinary climbing competition! The BCC is hosting the first climbing competitions in Cody to feature multiple disciplines. Think you can climb? Prove it. This competition offers points for bouldering, sport climbing and trad climbing. Points are gained from changing venues and type of climbing. Newbie? No Problem. Play the game smart and you have a good chance. Pro? You are going to have to work for it…
What are we climbing? This will be the first outdoor competition in the area to offer points for 90 granite routes, 50 boulder problems, and 20 limestone routes. Point values are assigned to grades with BIG points added for change of venue or discipline.
Change venue and get an additional 100-200 points dependent on distance, change discipline and get an additional 500 points. You can only get five of your top points per venue.
Venues include: the Island, Lower Canyon, Bridge Bands, Sphinx bouldering area and Cedar Mountain Bouldering. Try a route and don’t redpoint? Get to the chains and you get 75% of the points.
Point System: to be released at event with score cards and additional details.

Guide: Rackup will offer two days of free access to climbing maps for those registered. This includes the day prior and day of the competition. Smart device i.e. cell phone is required. Volunteers will be located at each site to encourage honesty and direction as well. A map of included routes and boulders will be given upon arrival to competition.
Other Details: Prepayment is highly recommended. A PayPal link will soon be attached to this page. Waivers will be available to sign the day of the event. More information about sponsors, driving, parking, and meeting locations will be posted soon. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES!!!
